Here are several videos from when my dad came to visit in semi-chronological order 😛
This first one is of me, my dad, and my church friends at the batting cages just after church. We ate at Namaskar, the BEST Indian food in Ulsan! Then we hit up Ilsan Beach for a while. I wanted to go hiking up the rocks, but it got really cold and rainy. So we decided to hit some baseballs instead. I got 4, my dad hit just about all of them. Go dad!
Yes I know, most of these are blurry .. still not a pro with the camera yet. But at least they serve to capture some memories 🙂
I can’t remember if we did this before or after the batting cages, but Alfredo throws a MEAN punch. I do NOT EVER want my face to be that punching bag, haha!
We just finished climbing up and down Seongsan Mountain. We walked down to this little cove where there was a small restaurant with Korean women catching all sorts of sea creatures to cook for lunch. There were boats that people could pay to take them on a small ride out into the ocean. Others were just hanging out on the shore with family and friends. It was SO beautiful, yet so surreal.
This was kind of a creepy exhibit at the Trick Eye museum we went to in Seoul. Most of the stuff you can just take pictures of, but you can’t quite grasp this without a video. It wasn’t just back and forth “blowing,” they would stop occasionally. It seemed totally random. And I didn’t see any air vents. Creeeeeepy ….
These last three videos are in Seoul at the Gyeongbokgung Palace main gate. Every hour or so they have the changing of the palace guards. It was really fun to watch. (No, they’re not real guards. It’s like a reenactment of historical Korea, although it’s daily. It’s cool because they are supposed to be completely serious and you can walk up to them and stand next to them and take pictures.)
Good Job on the videos and pictures Justin. It has been a while since I looked on your site. It has been a while since we have talked. Give me a call when you get some time. Love Dad
