U-do

Just off the coast of Seongsan is a little island called U-do (pronounced “oooo doe” )  Actually “do” means island, so it’s really U island (“oooo island”). To get there we had to take a short ferry ride.

This island is pretty cool with 2 or 3 beautiful beaches, and it’s own tiny little mountain.  Once you get to the island you have the option to rent little mopeds, fourwheelers, or bicycles. Since neither of us had an international driver’s license, we had to resort to bike riding again (although, this was my preferred method of transit 🙂  )

We rode our bikes through quite a good portion of this little island.  Lots of exercise and gorgeous scenery. I definitely need to come back here!
