On Saturday, the second day of my dad’s visit, my Korean “sister” took us out to eat at a very fancy traditional Korean restaurant. She used to be my main co-teacher at the school where I teach. She is an amazing person and was so helpful to me when I first came to Korea. She helped me settle into my apartment and trained me as an English teacher. She is definitely like family to me, so when she got a chance to meet my dad, she and her husband treated us to a great lunch, then took us on a tour of the Tongdosa Temple.
After the lunch she was our personal tour guide around one of the most famous Buddhist temples in Korea, Tongdosa Temple. It was a beautiful day, and my dad seemed to really enjoy the place. We met an interesting man from the UK who was doing a documentary on Korean Buddhism. He talked to us a little about his work and said the documentary will be released in 2015. This experience seemed to peak my dad’s curiosity about Buddhism.
That day was so happy to me. *^^* Your father is also hanasome like you.
나도 즐거웠어요. 아버지도 잘 생기셨어요.
