Here are several videos from when my dad came to visit in semi-chronological order 😛
This first one is of me, my dad, and my church friends at the batting cages just after church. We ate at Namaskar, the BEST Indian food in Ulsan! Then we hit up Ilsan Beach for a while. I wanted to go hiking up the rocks, but it got really cold and rainy. So we decided to hit some baseballs instead. I got 4, my dad hit just about all of them. Go dad!
Here is the third installment of pictures from the Jeju trip with my Dad. If you didn’t catch the first 2 posts, check them out: Part 1 and Part 2
All these pictures were taken by my dad with his camera. Now the perspective has changed and I’m in most of them instead of him. I didn’t sort them very well, so they’re a little out of order.
Dad, you got some really nice shots of Jeju! Continue reading Jeju Island with Dad (Part 3)
U-do
Just off the coast of Seongsan is a little island called U-do (pronounced “oooo doe” ) Actually “do” means island, so it’s really U island (“oooo island”). To get there we had to take a short ferry ride. Continue reading Jeju Island with Dad (Part 2)
“Are we going hiking today??”

Teaming together with Jenna, we all headed out at the crack of NOON to catch a bus to Seoknamsa (the name of the Buddhist temple at the bottom of the mountain). In fact we got such a late start and took our sweet time getting ready, we wondered whether or not we were actually going to make it to the mountain at all. The catch phrase of the day became, “Are we going hiking today??” Continue reading The Beast of Gajisan
