Two of my bestest friends in the whole world, Chris and Leide, traveled all the way from the USA last week to visit me in Korea! What a great surprise birthday present! Here are some pics of the first couple days. They helped me teach 8 classes on Friday! Plus some bonus pictures of Continue reading BFFs Visit Me from the USA!!

March Eggnog Tasting
What better drink to have in March than some good ol’ eggnog … wait, what? Yes, that’s right. I made homemade eggnog in March. But don’t judge me just yet. There are 2 perfectly good reasons for this delicious decision. First, I had promised some people last semester that I’d make some homemade eggnog for them during the winter. However, this lazy body of mine couldn’t be bothered* to spend the energy then. Also, it had been my friend Luke’s request, and since he’s leaving Korea in a couple days, I thought it was appropriate to send him off with a nice savory taste of the nog of eggs. And it was pretty savory, if I do say so myself 😛 And even if I don’t, my friends already have 😉
* “couldn’t be bothered” is a new phrase I’ve stolen from one of my British friends. It’s so useful!
Second Flash goes Seaside!
Second Flash played at the new Seaside wine bar right on the beach! This was one of our best gigs ever! And very sadly, it was our last gig with our drummer Luke who is leaving Korea in the next couple days. WE WILL MISS YOU LUKE!! He played that djembe like no one’s business. Awesome job man! Of course Jesse and Suji rocked the house as usual. The whole night was great! Great show guys. Second Flash, baby!!
Spring has sprung
These are pics from my neighborhood. Spring is officially here and the cherry blossom trees seem to be blooming earlier than last year. I wish it had been a little less cloudy. Oh well, hopefully in a day or two it’ll be just right. So beautiful with those white pedals. Too bad they only last for a couple weeks. Continue reading Spring has sprung
Jeohna English Worship Service
This is the church I go to in Ulsan. It’s a small English service held in a small room inside the Jeonha Presbyterian church building. Many English speakers from all over the world are constantly coming and going. Even though we only have about 20 or so members, it’s still a very diverse crowd! Recently the Continue reading Jeohna English Worship Service
